Beginner Guide
Everything you need to know to survive your first day in Haze Seas.
Step 1: Redeem Codes
Before you do anything else, redeem all active codes. They give you free Beli, Gems, stat refunds, and XP boosts that will accelerate your early progress.
Step 2: Choose Your Build Path
Haze Seas has three main damage stats. Pick one and commit your points to it early. Spreading stats too thin will slow you down.
Melee Build
High burst, close range. Best with Fighting Styles and Armament Haki.
Sword Build
Balanced range and damage. Great for players who love sword combos.
Fruit Build
Ranged AoE damage. Best for grinding mobs and sea events.
Step 3: Get Your First Fruit
Fruits spawn every hour under trees and near landmarks. Keep an eye on the server timer and check popular spawn spots. If you find a Common or Uncommon fruit, eat it for early grinding. Save higher-tier fruits for trading or endgame use.
- Starter fruits: Flame, Ice, Dark, Smoke
- Best early fruits: Light, Flame, Ice
- Avoid eating: High-value fruits like Dragon or Dough until you understand trading
Step 4: Level Through Sea 1
Follow the island progression and complete quests to level efficiently. Do not skip bosses — they drop important gear.
- Complete all quests on Starter Island (levels 0–10).
- Grind bandits at Pirate Village until level 30.
- Move to Marine Fort and unlock your first weapon.
- At level 50, complete the Observation Haki trial on Sky Island.
- Reach level 250 to unlock Sea 2.
Step 5: Unlock Haki
Haki is a permanent power boost. Observation helps you dodge, Armament lets you hit Logia users, and Conqueror is the rare endgame trump card. Prioritize Observation and Armament as soon as you meet the level requirements.
